TYPE HS TROLLEY WIRE DEAD-END AND STRAIN CLAMPS
Type HS Dead-end Clamp
Applications: For use with turnbuckles or feeder cable strain clamps to terminate or take up strain on trolley wire.
Features: Phoenix Type HS Dead-end Clamps are manufactured of high strength bronze alloy. Hollow screws are bronze, 3/4" x 5/8" - 18, broached for 5/16" hex wrench. Two 3/8" square head, cup point set screws provide vertical tension grip. Dead-end is de-signed to grip only the upper portion of the trolley wire permitting free underrun of the current collector when it is used for strain take-up.

Type HS Double Trolley Wire Strain
Clamp
Applications: To take up strain in trolley wire in both directions and support wire from insulated hanger.
Features: Phoenix Type HS Double Trolley Wire Strain Clamps are manufactured of high strength bronze alloy. Hollow screws are bronze, 3/4" x 5/8" - 18, broached for 5/16" hex wrench. Four, two in each direction, 3/810 square head, cup point set screws provide vertical tension grip. Clamp is designed to grip only the upper portion of the trolley wire permitting free underrun of the current collector. Boss is tapped 5/8" - 11".
