Type SU Trolley Frogs
Applications: For use at trolley wire turnouts and on high-speed mainline haulage systems. Frogs may be used for any angle turnout when properly positioned in relation to the rail.
Features: Phoenix Type SU Trolley Frogs are manufactured of high strength bronze alloy. Type SU Trolley Frogs are designed to accept Type SU smooth underrun frog tips for arc-free high-speed passage of current collector through the turnout. Tips are designed to hold trolley wire butted against the frog, eliminating the "bump" associated with conventional wire-encircling tips.
Type SU Frogs are furnished without tips. Order tips separately, three per frog.

Type SU Frog Tips
Applications: For attachment to Type SU Trolley Frogs and crossovers to hold trolley wire.
Features: Phoenix Type SU Frog Tips are manufactured of high strength bronze alloy. Tips are designed to grip only the upper portion of the trolley wire permitting free underrun of the current collector. Type SU Tips have two ½ - 13 square head, cup point set screws, set at angles to the wire to hold it firmly.
