Type SSU Trolley Wire Splicers
Applications: For splicing trolley wire on smooth underrun, mainline haulage systems.
Features: Phoenix Type SSU Trolley Wire Splicers are manufactured of high strength bronze alloy. Hollow screws are bronze, 3A" x 5/8" - 18 broached for 5/16" hex wrench. Two 3/8" square head, cup point set screws provide vertical tension. Splicer is designed to grip only the upper portion of the trolley wire permitting free underrun of the current collector.
