TYPE HS CATENARY TROLLEY WIRE CLAMPS
FOR ALL GROOVED TROLLEY WIRE SIZES
This versatile clamp is most often used in municipal transit and catenary applications in conjunction with Phoenix Insulated Span Wire Hangers (#8220). Phoenix HS Catenary Trolley Wire Clamps are made of malleable iron, hot-dip galvanized or high strength bronze alloy. All Type HS Clamps incorporate hex hole, high strength bronze screws. Boss is tapped 5/8" - 11 x 11/16".
Catalog Numbers 5666 and 5667 are identical to the standard clamp, except that one of the cover plates is made of high conductive bronze and has a 1 V~" wide x 1~4" high x i/4" thick tab projecting upward to accommodate a feeder tap.
Catalog Numbers 5668 and 5669 are identical to the standard clamp except that the body and cover plates are made of high strength, bronze alloy to facilitate feeding through the boss.
Type HS Clamps are furnished standard to fit 6/0 and larger trolley wire. For 210,3/0 and 4/0 trolley wire place wire size after part number when ordering, i.e. 5664/4/0.

Type HS Trolley Clamp
Applications: For supporting trolley wire from insulated hangers.
Features: Phoenix Type HS Trolley Wire Clamps are manufactured of malleable iron or high strength bronze alloy. Boss is tapped 11/16" x 5/8" - 11. Hollow screws are high strength bronze alloy, 3/4" x 5/8" - 18 broached for 5/16" hex wrench. Jaws are designed to grip upper portion of the trolley wire permitting ample clearances for free underrun of current collector. Cover plates are identical to those used on Phoenix Catalog No.5664.
