ROD STYLE STRAIN INSULATORS

Applications: For dead-ending guy and span wire where electrical insulation is required and to suspend and insulate overhead frog and crossover assemblies.
Features: Phoenix Type Rod Style Strain Insulators are made of 5/8" and 7/8" diameter, epoxy-Fiberglass rod, grades G10 and painted with gray alkyd paint. End fittings are made of malleable iron, hot-dip galvanized and swaged to the ends of the rod to assure maximum strength and reliability. Rated and proof tested to a minimum of 8,000 pounds tension. Minimum length between centers of eyes or devises is 7.5".

To order, use appropriate part number and give length to 1/10th of an inch. For example, a 7/8" rod insulator with two eyes in the same plane and 12 1/2" between the centers of the eyes would be ordered as part number 7852-12.5.
