Trolley Lubricant Applicator

Applications: For attachment to standard mine trolley pole to lubricate trolley wire. Not a current carrying collector.

Features: Phoenix Trolley Lubricant Applicators consist of Flecto process malleable iron pole head and harp castings with cast aluminum tank and bronze roller. As the applicator moves along the trolley wire, the roller applies lubricant to the wire. An adjustable wiper controls the flow of lubricant. A brush mounted at the back of the tank facilitates even distribution of the lubricant over the wire.

Lubricant should be applied at a speed not in excess of 8 MPH. Tank holds approximately 11/2 pints, which is enough capacity to coat 1/2 mile of wire.
